Mission

The Brisbane City Youth Ballet is a non-profit organisation committed to:

ensure the dance experience for each dancer is happy, gentle and performed in a environment that is safe and inspires excellence
develop a clean classical technique with emphasis on musicality and artistry
provide performance experiences in full-length traditional story ballets as well as the creation of new ballets choreographed especially for children
foster a love of classical ballet through the thrill of live performance
nurture friendships that last a lifetime
promote dance as a favourite pursuit for children
